Studio Maakt uses all kind of techniques
and materials.
Mainly metals, but even 3D printed plastics, or old school collage techniques to produce unique pieces.

Sponton speerpunt
Etched steel Spontoon for the Dutch Army. My contribution was the etch work. I created a mask from vinyl, by cutting a svg drawing with the Brother Scanncut. The crown above our kings "WA" monogram was created by the use of UV sensitive dry-film, normally used for creating electronic pcb's. The steel was etched in ferrochloric acid for 30 minutes. Next, the spontoon will go to the gold smith, who will gild the details, and then it will go back to the smith for blueing the steel.
